Paypal payment to "Ebay"

Why are so many paypal payments now showing as a payment to ebay with no indication of what the item was or of the seller to whom the money was sent?

Does anyone else find it confusing when checking their paypal account or is it just me?

When I log into my PayPal account every payment to eBay has their logo and the seller immediate at the top of the payment.

About 50% of mine show a seller. The others do not.

This would be sellers on Managed Payments.

eBay take the money and remit the money, less seller fees, to the seller.

So you are no longer paying the seller directly. I have heard that eBay reference the seller in the payment receipt, but I'm not yet on MP, so can't confirm until next week.
