Ebay Marketplace?

HI

I've just noticed a transcation in my banking that I don't recognise, "Payment to Ebay Marketplace 3633240au"  for the amount of $38.15.  I'm not hugely knowledgeable about Ebay so I have no idea what this is, I didn't purchase anything on the day of this.  Just got off the phone to my bank and they said it's a direct debt that's been set up using my BSB and Account details.

Any help would sooo appreciated.

I have the same problem from my bank, for a transaction I've never made. Please let me know if you have already got some decent answer from either your bank or eBay. Really appreciated it!

Yes these transactions are outright Fraud. I took it to my bank who are still in the throws of investigating. This transaction seems to have originated from a USA Bank. someone from the US instigated and set up a Periodica Payment against my account for a purchase (I dont know what). I have no paperwork or any information on such a purchase. WHAT IS EBAY GOING TO DO ABOUT ALL THESE FRAUDULENT SCHEDULED TRANSACTIONS. Some people don't check their bank accounts for months. At least I got onto this with the first payment.

Anybody who has had a simmilar situation should get onto their bank fast. Something in the back of my mind says :"signature required for setting up Periodical Payments" Can anyone elucidate on this?
