When you buy an item how long does the seller have to accept your payment?

I purchased an item using the buy it now option and paid straight away using paypal. The money was deducted from my bank account and paypal sent me an email receipt but 5 days later the item still says 'payment processing'. I went into my paypal account where it says 'payment status: unclaimed'. I sent an email to the seller asking why it is unclaimed and 3 days later they have not replied. What are my options now? Is there any way I can get my money back?
