Why has afterparty disappeared as a payment option?

Hi does anyone know why afterpay has disappeared as a payment option. I was able to use it two days ago with the same seller but now it's vanished from the options. It's vanish from all other sellers that I can see.

Did I miss something?

I thought I had read that eBay was doing away with Afterpay as an option 

I would never use it so I cannot speak from person experience 

Perhaps other members who do use it are having the same issue and may be along to answer you better
