I am a buyer. This is the 2nd time the seller asks me to pay using paypal before arranging pickup. Payment method in the original listing is paypal but the method of delivery states local pickup is allowed. I think there is nothing better for me to inspect the item and pay cash if the item is as described. What should I say? What if the seller insists to receive payment (by paypal) before arranging pickup?
I am not sure if the seller has the impression I may try to haggle the price down. If that is the case he/she can simply say 'no', why not?
I learn from here that neither the seller nor the buyer has protection for pick ups with paypal.
