error 70360 error 5100144

Hello,

 I have a continuiing problem with payment. For some reason on the 24th October 2018, I was unable to pay for items using with either direct CC or PayPal. I went hrough the general fixes.

  • Deleting my link to PayPal
  • Deleting my browser history (phone and home PC)
  • Trying other cards at the checkout
  • Linking my Eftpos card to eBayy via PayPal
  • linking my bank account to eBay via PayPal.

Paypal sees no problem with my acccount - aying it must be a rpblem with eBay.

eBay sees nothing wrong with my eBay account, and suggest that I try PayPal.

 

Nothing has worked.

 

Since then

  • I have deleted by Paypal account entirely.
  • I have tried CC only option when in the checkout.
  • I have checked my CC status with my bank.
  • I have used my CC for other transactions with no problem. 

Yet eBay can't do it. I'm fed up really.

 

My other option is to start another eBay account and another PayPal account.

 

The errors are:-

"We are unable to process your PayPal transaction" Error 70360. (I tried only to use CC, not PayPal)

or

"We are unable to process your PayPal transaction"  Error 5100144.

 

Does anyone have any new ideas?

That sounds frustrating!

 

You say that you deleted your link to PayPal. Can I just check that you have done the following?

 

  1. Go to My eBay.
  2. Click onto Account.
  3. From the panel under My eBay Views / Account (on the left), click onto Personal Information.
  4. Under Financial Information, where it says "Checkout saved payment methods", what does it say? (It should say "You have no saved payment methods." If it doesn't, unlink the payment method.)
