how to get a refund if I still didnt receive my item and Sent 5 messages to seller

Good Morning 

I purchased a air fryer and paid $250.00 AU dollars the delivery date being Wednesday 19th to Thursday 20th  of August  I never received the item I made contact with the seller the seller sent one back saying the product was new and should arrive shortly I waited 1 week then placed a refund on the item which EBAY told me to make contact with seller which I did 5 times with no response ebay said wait for the seller to get back to me then I received a message from EBAY saying the case had been closed no further action can be done because there was no activty in 21 days I responded to there need to make contact request 5 times in that 21 Days 

Hope Somebody can shine some light on this as I have been with EBAY for 16 years never had this poblem before but cannot afford this type of problems thinking about closing my account

did the same with a SSD card i bought for my PC that never came after like 1 month of waiting , to read that the seller still hadn't yet sent it, even know the delivery said it had arrived, i was scratching my head wondering why it can say it has been delivered but still at the sellers warehouse. Not only that he said he would issue me a refund within 6 days , its been easily a week now with nothing pending or sent on my bank account or paypal. I tried to let Ebay know but it said i cannot ask for a refund on the item since the seller had already issued me one for it, I tried messaging him but no replies for a few days now , so i did what Sandypebbles did and tried to sort it through PayPal. But still a massive screw around , for something that should be instant and a click of a button away , what your telling me we live in 2020 and it takes 7 days for a full refund to digitally go through, you've gotta be joking right.

I hope you paid with PayPal, you have 6 months to open a dispute for item not received there

Given their use of stock photos, have xxx amount of everything and using free standard post for all ,very large items, I am actually amazed any buyers got anything
