hi
just wanted to know what happens when paypal escalates to a claim and seller does not respond in the 10 day's ?
sorry let you know what happened purcheased a pandora girl charm 14k gold stamped and all but would not fit on my pandora bracelet so took it to the store and try to have it fix only to find out it was a fake.sent the seller a message requesting a full refund no answear put a claim to paypal and still waiting.what happen's now?
It is up to you to escalate to a claim.
If you can get written proof on a letter head the bead is fake you will not have to return it for a refund.
As you are doing not as described, if the seller has not responded to the dispute (you only have it active for 20 days from the day the dispute was opened) then you have to escalate to a claim unless the seller has done it.
After it has been escalated paypal will give you an address to return the bead by registered post Make sure you fill in the paper work for registered post and get it stamped by the PO in case you need to prove postage at any stage.
If you can get a letter to verify it is a fake then phone paypal and tell them this and you will have to fax that to them.
IF you were claiming not received and the dispute had been escalated then after 10 days with out proof of postage form the seller you would be refunded.
