Is there a way to make Ebay respond with "Australia only"

I see this has been going on since at LEAST 2012

I select "AUSTRALIA only" and I get the World. Which includes the USA.

I ONLY want to see Australia, that is why I clicked the option EBAY provided.

OBVIOUSLY  Ebay make too much money and dont give a rats **bleep**.  What confirmns this point is the after the multitude of complaints the system has not changed AND they never respond in any other way either! 

Ebay will need to take note: after CV-19 more competitors are entering the market, it is they who WILL provide the CX asked for.

The refinement 'Australia Only' is any seller that sells and sends to Australia.

In other words, products available to Aus.

It doesn't refer to where sellers are registered.

Try using the klms from your postcode. Even then you will get Asian sellers/others with so called warehousing in major capitals.

It is up to you to do due diligence, always check account registration of a seller before buying and feedback.

But there should be an option to select only Australian sellers. Further, the selection area is located indented under the "item location" heading. There should be a separate heading for sellers prepared to sell in Australia if that is actually an option that anyone wants! What is the point, in the end, of seeing sellers who are NOT prepared to seel to people in Australia. You might want to select that as an option, but it should not be the default.

If you select the default, you will see Australian listings first, which are sellers listing on the Australian site who by definition are prepared to send to Australia, regardless of where they are based.

Then, if there's room on the page, you will get overseas sellers who may or may not ship to Australia.

Whether or not eBay 'should' do something is irrelevant. They won't so YOU need to find workarounds.
