Why is it that when I do a search for what I an interested I also get results for other things?
Example Apple iPhone 15 I also get results for iPhones 12, 13, SE sometimes 11 which I did not ask for.
Plenty of time I get excited when I see a low price only to see it's for a phone I am not interested in.
Annoying. I just would like to type what I am after click the search button and see results for what I want.
Most likely a good thing
Buying something such as a phone (and especially a very modern phone) from some random on eBay will almost always end badly
Especially if low prices excite you
Sorry, but
No warranty
Quite possibly a knock off
Likely a dodgy seller registered overseas
Use quotation marks around iPhone 15 - like this: “iPhone 15” - and you’ll narrow the search to that phrase.
But I’d recommend that you double-check that the seller is indeed registered in Australia, by clicking onto the seller’s feedback score and then clicking onto “About” to see the seller's country of registration.
Be aware too that there is no warranty, unless you buy from an authorised Apple dealer (authorised by Apple, that is), Australian, with ABN. In all other circumstances, no matter what the listing says…. no warranty.
I hope that helps with your searches. You can put multiple words or phrases into quotation marks - e.g., “Wedgwood” “edme” “soup bowl” - and you can exclude terms as well by using the minus symbol.
