So sick of Ebay controlling the search function

I have been told that it is not possible to make the default search for Australia only. Now every time I search its set at Best Match. Before it stayed on Newly Listed. So now to do a search I have to enter the item in the search box. Then reload the page as newly listed. Then reload the page for Australia Only. Every time I do a search. Why can't I just be able to set the defaults to how I LIKE THEM??????
