how can I contact a seller direct about an issue with pay pal payment?

I made a purc hase and used pay pal to pay for it, there was an extremely long processing payment time and I notified seller of this. Eventually the seller closed the sale and gave me a positive feedback but said non payment received. I have now received the funds back from pay pal stating that the seller was not registered for pay pal. Although I am lucky to get a positive feedback I want to show the e-mail to the seller from pay pal returning the funds to show that I was not wasting his time. As I initiated the payment with paypal and notified the seller that there was a delay with Pay pal processing, as I did not here from the seller that he did not use paypal and his choices of payment included pay pal, I don't understand Pay Pals ending to this issue. Any advice appreciated.
