To add, if you used PP with a credit card, it goes back to the credit card and can take 4-8 working days in my experience.

How did you pay?

If you paid through paypal with funds coming from your bank account then the refund stays in your paypal account until you manually return it to your bank account.

For the most part any refund goes back to the funding source, except for paypal payments funded by a bank account.
