up loading pics and getting "You may want to improve the image....." and "the image be 90 or greater for....." 90 what? and how?

I've been trying to edit my pics, but no matter how I do it, I still get the same result.  Hope someone can help.  thanks

All of my pics come up with that. The recommended size is at least 1600 pixels on one side. I personally feel this is ridiculous, mine are roughly 800 x 1200, which is the size they scan at. It doesn't affect the clarity. Huge pictures are also slower to load. Not everybody has fast broadband yet.

I would ignore the message. If your pics are clear, that is all you need.

What size are they?

When does the message appear?

Are you stopped from going further?
