Is there a way to block newbies with zero feedback from buying on my listings?
I know it sounds harsh as I do get bids from some newbies who have made themselves aware of ebay's policies and procedures and understand once you buy something you enter into a contract with they buyer to follow through and purchase the item, but way too many new users could care less and bid for fun I assume.
Key example - I have just sold a dress for $50 - it started at $38 and there was a buyer who was constantly outbid by a zero feedback user who won the item for $50.
I sent the invoice after the auction and also a message congratualting them on their purchase and asking if they were aware of the payment methods or needed any help finalising the purchase.
I recieve a message back this morning saying 'Cool. I have forgotton what size it is. I am normally 10-12. I am assuming no returns'.
COME ON. Listing says - Size Small. No returns accepted unless faulty. So I let her know and get a message back 'EEEK I don't think that will fit unfortunately'
I know this probably happens to larger sellers all the time but as a small seller I find after you relist an item the original counter bidder never returns because it seems suss and they think the zero feedbacker was a shill bid account. Enough is enough!
