Can anyone tell me how they deal with bogus buyers who want to scam you. I have had 2 recently while selling a caravan.

One bogus buyer wanted to purchase caravan to send to Malaysia, he had a bad account (if any) with ebay and wanted to pay outside paypal/ebay.
Second bogus buyer wanted to ship caravan to NZ again not sure if he had an ebay account - he wanted my e4mail address for paypal.
Customer service say not to answer this latest email request as it will allow this person to access my information.
Both people SMS'd me on my mobile to start- then email.
How have others dealt with these leeches.
I need to sell my van as a matter of necessity for payment of health related bills old and new. Why do people take advantage of ones hard times.
