Customer asked to cancel a transaction which I did but its waiting for a refund. No refund is due

A customer asked to cancel a transaction as an error had been made.  Ive cancelled the transaction but its now saying awaiting a refund, however the customer never made a payment so no refund is due.  Has anyone had this happen?

Probably just another glitch in the long list of ebay glitches at the moment.

As I am not a seller I don't know what to advise you but if there was no payment made, ebay cannot force you to refund....that can only be done if the buyer opened a dispute of some kind.
