EBay Sales on free fall dive - down dramatically.

Hey guys - anyone here experiencing a steep decline in sales over the last 6 months?

We have been on eBay for 17 years and this has to be the worse downturn we have seen.

Contacted eBay to clarify if there are any issues with our store or listings, the only thing they said was their specialist team is looking into the matter. It’s been weeks and still the same answer.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

The answer is simple. Ebay just don't have the customer following. Selling on ebay is like running a servo on a motorway that has moved!!!

I believe this is also due to the fact every large company and corporation selling goods is now on eBay. So we aren’t competing against just other online sellers of pure Sole traders and small business. It’s huge online selling and eBay is another way brand names can make revenue so they use it. Along with many other reasons but this is one.

After christmas, school going back and the fallout from covid over the last two years.

Many out of work, many spending dollars on a long needed holiday to name a few.
