Ebay taking EXTREMELY long to reimburse sellers.

Ebay charged me for a item that was not sold three weeks ago. I am still waiting for reimbursement of the charged three weeks after. Have sent Ebay an email several days ago asking why it is taking so long for this charge to be reimbursed and have had nothing back. Is this the right way to treat a valued customer? Or any customer for that matter? I think it is not good customer service and am seriously thinking of never using this service again. Also letting others know not to use such a dodgey service.

Did you open an "unpaid item dispute" ?  If you didn't then eBay has no way of knowing that the item didn't sell so that's why they are expecting the fees from you.

When the buyer told you they were not going to pay, what happened next?

Did you either report it as an unpaid item

Cancel the sale through eBay

or (if this was in place at the item your item 'sold')

Before you sell any more on eBay read here:

eBay have done nothing wrong, you have not followed procedure correctly

eBay email is manned by bots, it is doubtful the bots 'understood' the question

It is really very rare for there to be a reply to most emails to ebay, and if there is a reply, even rarer it had anything to to with the question asked

When you say the item was not sold, do you mean there was a glitch that said it WAS sold, or did it 'sell' but the buyer not pay?
