Hi guys! I now have my lens listed under auction with the starting bid and "buy it now" price the same at $4950. I have requested Paypal payment and specified registered post. I have a potential buyer (local) who wants my lowest price and said they can pick up next week.
Can I accept a price lower than what I have listed thru eBay; can I sell earlier than the 7 days left to run; and can I accept a different payment method other than Paypal??? (I am progressing very cautiously and don't want to break eBay rules)

If your buyer is local and you think they are genuine, by all means lower the price if you wish since you have no bids. I'd also amend the postage section to state Pick Up Only, no postage.
For a pick up item you would ONLY accept cash at the time of pick-up.
If they pay by other means, you would not allow pick-up until the funds are fully cleared to you.
High end items like this from new sellers are prime scamming targets so proceed very carefully and come back for more advice if you need it.
