Funds not released after local pickup

I completed a local pickup. The buyer collected the item in person, but the pickup code wasn’t scanned at the time due to the nature of the in-person handover. The buyer has a 100 percent feedback rating, the handover was straightforward, and there has been no indication of any dispute. An eBay support agent (twice) has already confirmed that the item was collected (via my end) and manually updated the order, however the funds have not yet been released. What is the correct process to have this order fully marked as collected so the funds can be released? For sellers who have experienced this scenario, is there a typical timeframe for funds to be released after a manual update, or is there an additional step required to fully mark the order as collected? I have messaged the buyer, but there hasn't been a response, but the email thread beforehand with them does confirm the details of the pickup on their end with their response prior (i.e. - time and place, etc. confirmed by them).

As you are aware, your funds will be on hold for whatever period eBay deems to be appropriate. For your convenience, I'll include a link at the bottom of this post for you to read up on and refresh your memory about the payment holds that you agreed to when you listed the item.

You say you have not uploaded a pick-up code, and I can see that you haven't received positive feedback either. This means that your chances of having the funds released early are extremely slim (practically zero).

Is there any reason why you haven't uploaded the pick-up code? Unless you're having some type of dispute with the buyer (in which case your funds should definitely be on hold), surely the buyer can provide you with the 6 digits. Have you actually asked them for the code?

Unless the buyer is also a seller, 100% feedback is totally meaningless since eBay only allow positive feedback for buyers

And as said, all the rules around Managed Payments and holds on funds really do apply, as agreed to by you when listing
