Has anyone else heard that Australia Post is no longer accepting the Pre-Paid Satchels in the red boxes anymore.

Just went down to the red box and ran into the courier who was doing a pick up.  He told me that he was told 2 weeks ago not to take these satchels and we have to take to post office to post.  I said it didn't sound right and that I have being doing so for years.  He said that if I continue to do it they will all be returned to sender.  It is weird cause it actually says that the satchels can be placed in red box- is this false advertising.  Confused & Bewilded

Of course you can still drop them in the Red Box.

But it is better for you to get them scanned as proof of lodgement.

Call AP if you are worried and see what they say but the idea of them is you do not have to line up and wait at the PO.
