SCAM.

Hopefully you’ve not posted the item.

Whatever information you gave to the “buyer” or to this fake eBay department may be used for further scamming, theft and misuse of your ID, attempts to access your bank account and drain your funds, further mislead you by pretending to be officials seeking to recover your funds, etc, etc.

Have no further communication with the fake buyer or with the fake eBay.

You can also report the buyer's ID to eBay.

If  it's an account with feedback, it will be a hijacked account.

eBay probably won't do anything , but worth a try

and cancel the transaction,  problem with  buyer's address, to have your  selling fee refunded

As the countess has advised, 100% SCAM

Your post also indicates that you may not be  registered to sell and signed up for managed payments

https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792&srsltid=AfmBOopkkpg0oP7...

And your payments will be on hold

If that's the case, end your current listings immediately until you and your bank have been verified, for managed payments
