Hi,
I had three items removed with an email on copied photo or text. The help pages said the "rights owner" would be copied in so I could find from them what was considered copied. It is frustrating as I now feel I cannot list the items when I do not know what was the problem. I was selling bedside drawers and tallboys which are all pretty much the same measurements as other items on the category listing.
I also used the same text colouring and formatting that I always use. I never use plain type text as it looks so boring.
How do I find out which part of my listing was considered "copied" as the photos are all my own. The photos being taken in the same manner showing the same detail in other listings surely couldn't be copy righted. How else would I show detailed joinery work in the construction.
I hope ebay come back with the required answers so I can sell my items. Any assistance would be appreciated in working out how my listing was considered copied and how to fix it? Surely coloured text and formatting are not a copyrighted item.
One point is that when looking for phones last year it was common to see the phone specs on every sellers page. All the listings there look exactly the same why are they not removed???
Thanks in advance
