Hi. Just have a situation I'm not sure about regarding an unpaid item.

I agreed to the collection of an item that the buyer wanted urgently although it wasn't listed as pick up.  I didn't send an invoice because it included the postage cost and they were collecting from me and paying cash.

They have just contacted me saying that it's actually not what they're after and no longer want it. There was no sorry and no request for a mutual cancellation.

Here's the question.....Can I commence an Unpaid Item Dispute after the 4 days without having issued an invoice?

Of course you can, many sellers dont issue invoices as ebay sends one automatically.

As long as the item has been officially purchased through ebay, and not an off ebay deal, you can open an unpaid item dispute after the 4 days have passed.
