I have just listed Auction item a 'buyer' asked would I sell early, he is an ebay member.
Can I do this?

Yes you can!
If you go to the 'Edit' tab drop down option to the right of the item you are selling under 'My Ebay, My Selling' you can add the option 'Buy It Now' which will allow you to sell it for the same price it is currently listed for or a different agreed upon price.
Note, at last check I think Buy It Now costs you an extra 30 or 50 cents in your final listing fee.
As soon as the you amend the listing the buyer can click on the 'Buy It Now' option on your listing and the listing will end and they can pay you.
Make sure they are happy with the price and committed to buying it before you change so you don't need to pay an extra 30 cents for nothing!
