Hi, just wondering how Australian sellers keep on track with their reporting obligations and record keeping when dealing with eBay? (Tax)

Just wanted to know how other sellers manage their taxation obligations and record keeping? From what I have gathered so far sellers use a spreadsheet system?

What records need to be inputted into the spreadsheet (expenses, sales etc) and is this document updated regularly or once a tax return is due?
