I am a bit concerned that I'm not providing enough communication to people who are buying from me. Actually, I only communicate directly with them if they have a question that needs answering as I thought that they would be automatically notified when their shipments are sent off, etc., by eBay.
If that's not the case, would anyone be able to outline a good plan for making sure you communicate sufficiently.
For example, should you email them an invoice once they have checked out?
Should you send off a note letting them know when the shipment has been sent?
Any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.
I always email a buyer to thank them for thier purchase, and yes I always send an invoice unless they pay immediately.
And I email them again to let them know that I have posted, but thats just me, some sellers do none of that.
Ebay are actually bringing in an automatic 5 stars for communication if you have everything a buyer needs in a listing and do NOT have to communicate with them at all.
IMO nothing beats personal service, but I am sure there will be many who disagree.
