I am unable to report serious price gouging. What usually sells for about $20, this moron is asking $2000. I can not find the correct link to report price gouging..
I doubt that it is price gouging.
The more likely scenario is that the item is out of stock and the seller does not want to lose his place in the searches.
It is quite common for them to increase the price so nobody will buy the item.
Keep watching the item and see what happens.
Quite frankly, anyone who would buy at that price deserves to pay through the nose.....nothing can be that important!
Sellers have the right to list an item for whatever they want, and if a buyer purchases at that price then it is their fault that they didn't do their homework.
It is likely, as mentioned, just being used as a placeholder until more stock comes in. You really don't have to buy it and just scroll down.
What you believe to be price gouging is not so, when you realize
why the price is so high.
The reason is that the Sellers item is OUT OF STOCK
and rather than remove the add, and only waste time to
recreate the advertisement later, the Seller has posted
an extraordinarily high price KNOWING that no one will buy
at that price,
It is used as a method of placing sales on HOLD and not price gouging.
It should be clear that no one is being forced to accept and pay any
listed price.
You pay what you consider to be best value for you and base that on
the score of POSITIVE feedback reports on the seller.
