How do I report a possible scammer who contacted me via an item I am selling

I was contacted by a supposed purchaser via an item I am selling. I strongly believe that this person was attempting to scam me and I wish to bring this to the attention of Ebay so perhaps you can block him/her

What makes you think he was trying to scam you?

Just put the ID on your Blocked Bidder List if you are concerned.....ebay will not do anything.

As an aside, you have some listings twice.

I assume you have doubles of these to sell otherwise you could end up in a spot of bother.

You are selling very high priced items, and have not sold nor had feedback in over a year so perhaps this buyer is attempting to do his due diligence, I would be doing the same.

What message did he send to make you think it was a scammer? Did they ask if you would post?

Buyers do have a right to ask a question of a seller, I would be for these items

Yes they do, and I did not suggest otherwise

I said that eBay will not *do* anything about the potential buyer nor will eBay block them because a seller thinks they are a scammer

eBay do not believe buyers ever scam

Buyers can do no wrong as far as eBay are concerned so the chance of them blocking a buyer is zero
