how long has a seller got to send a item after payment..:eg if your payment left yor account on 29/08 and seller still has'nt marked as SENT.

Look at the listing and see what they have as a handling time.
If they say they will post with in 3 days of payment clearing to their account then they should post within that 3 days.
Have you asked the seller if it has been posted?
A lot of sellers never mark as posted but this does not mean it has not been posted.
Message you seller if you are concerned.
