Credited on your credit card???

Do you mean debited?

Other members cannot tell you what it is for

If the price does not match something you have purchased or have signed up to, you need to report it to your bank now so they can cancel your card an investigate

If you think it is a scam as you say, this is the first thing you should have done already, before asking other members a question they cannot possibly know

Does it say the charge is from eBay?

Do you allow other people to use or access your account?

What is the amount ?

Were you subscribed to eBay Plus or Smarty Cashback, and have cancelled them ?

Does it actually apply to an eBay transaction ?

Oh, sorry, you  say in the heading an unknown amount

But then in the body you said credited, meaning money paid to you,

Which is correct?

If it is the latter, did you buy something and then ask to cancel/get a refund?

If you have a charge you say you did not authorise, then as said, report it

If  you have a small charge on your card, $3-$5 for something endearing, eg...

Save the puppies

Support the hungry children

As it is a worthy cause and such a small amount the thinking is you may let it slide.

The next charge won't be small.
