Is this eBay Confirmation Legitimate?

Hello eMail Community,

I have just sold my first item on email but just want to check something. I got a "confirmation email" from eBay from this address ebay.verifiedteam@gmail.com with the following message:

Title: Congratulation OK to Ship. (Gift Card Receipt/Picture Required To Release Your funds

Text: Ebay have confirm your payments

In a conversation with the seller they also wanted me to include a $200 voucher for the Apple online store. I did not think this was suspect until I got this. It looks suspicious due to the "gmail account" (why would eBay use Gmail) and also the odd subject line and spelling / grammar mistakes.

I'm unsure if it's real and don't want to proceed to send the items to the seller until I know.

Thank you!

Total scam

Have a read of any of the many threads on here about the request for gift card/iTunes voucher

forward to: spoof@ebay.com

They will let you know......certainly looks bogus. Was it in ebay messages or your email?
