Made a mistake with the description for an item and the item has just sold (haven't posted yet). What do I do?

Not sure whether I should contact the seller about this problem or is there some way to remove the item and fix the description?

If the item has sold contact the buyer and tell them of the problem and if possible send photos to back your story as a lot of buyers hear excuses to cancel a sale if the price was not enough for the seller.
