My listings are only rarely coming up in search?

I've recently created a new eBay account, and I have listed a large amount of coins for sale on that account. I expected them to be sought-after items that would sell quickly, but it's been three days and I have not yet gotten a single view that isn't from my own account.

I tried searching for my item using the product name or general keywords, and only occasionally do my listings come up in the search results. This varies greatly and there seems to be no correlation - the same listing will appear sometimes and not appear other times, different coins will appear depending on whether I'm signed in, signed out or logged in with my old account. There also seems to be much less of my listings appearing when I use the eBay mobile app then when I use the web, and different results seem to appear when I use incognito mode. Furthermore, often listings will appear but only in the 'results matching fewer words' section, even when I search for the specific product name. The only way that I have been able to see all my listings on all platforms is by searching for my seller name in 'advanced search'.

Apologies if this is too wordy, but is there something I am doing wrong so that my listings aren't showing up or gaining interest? What can I do to resolve this? If anyone has any idea why this is happening I would be grateful if you could fill me in.

Cheers

Firstly check the following:

If you can't find your listing after 24 hours, go to Selling, and check whether it's active, in draft, or has any other status. The listing needs to be activeto be pulled into our search results.

If your listing is active, and it's after 24 hours, here are some quick checks you can do:

  • Make sure you didn't misspell anything or run two words together in the item's title
  • Look for any typos that have accidentally created profanity in your listing –  search will block a listing if it spots profanity
  • Remove any special characters (! @ / *) from the title
  • See if you've created a duplicate listing. If you have, you'll find a note in the Selling section of My eBay or Seller Hub explaining that your listing won't be available until you've received at least one bid on the identical active listing

If none of the above helps to explain your item visibility, have you tried searching with search terms in quotation marks?

Or… as a new seller, perhaps your items will have less visibility until you’ve had a sale and feedback.

Firstly - a large amount of coins - is not 27.

15 of which are a current circulation - Charles 111 - lightly circulated - hello - there is not one of us who do not have one of these in their wallet - collectable??

The listings show - dropped pics - not your own of the coin being offered - anyone's guess what they receive.

Shape up - or give up.

You are 'new' to eBay.....give it time!

Someone else who sells coins might give you a different slant.........

I didn't ask if my pictures were good enough, if 27 was a large number or if the coins were collectable. I asked why they weren't showing up - even when sorting by price  - in search results.
