Hi everyone,
I need some advice on how to handle a situation with a purchase I made quite some time ago. Back on December 18, 2023, I bought a Country Road New Mohair Cardigan for AU $50.00 from a seller. I paid for the item, but later realized it was listed as "local pickup," which I didn't notice at the time of purchase.
Since I haven't been able to pick it up and it's now been 7 months, I'm not sure what my options are. I can't contact eBay directly because the usual resolution period has expired. What should I do in this case? Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I still try contacting the seller, or is there another way to resolve this after such a long time?
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance, Kaitlin
It's too late to do anything through eBay, Paypal or your bank. your only hope is to try contacting the seller but they will be under no obligation to cancel and refund you now, indeed I think it's too late for a cancellation anyway.
As asked, did you communicate with the seller?
Or did you just expect they would wait over half a year because you did not read the listing?
Have you checked your funding source to see if they refunded you all those months ago?
did you contact them at the time to say you will take 7 months to pickup, as you would have gotten pickup details from them than. If so try contacting them again.
