Noticed one of my customers was charged GST She is in Australia

Noticed last night one of my customers was charged GST .

She is in Australia, and a repeat customer and I have not noticed this before .

I have been going round and round in circles trying to get to live chat but only get the bots with the automated selections to click none of which related .

Is this a new thing with ebay? or just a glitch

I'm a bit confused have we both paid GST on this transaction I thought the buyer only paid GST if they were from overseas and I only sell in Australia

Have a look at the many, many threads already on here about this issue

There is nothing other members can do for you/ each other to fix this

Advice has been given on other threads though as to the 'response' eBay have given when contacted

I have asked IT the question why am I getting charged GST, still waiting on and answer.

You need to go into chat line and if they keep giving you subjects to pick, keep typing in "I need to speak to someone" I did this and received a phone call from IT

I'm in that boat, A repeat customer to someone who lives here in Australia selling there 2nd hand goods, last week not charged GST, yesterday I was. 

I live in Australia also. 

I thought we only pay GST when we import a item from overseas ... Not pay it on 2nd hand goods within Australia to Australia. 

I asked for help ... but who knows when we will get the refund, or help.

Seems a wide problem here within Australia atm.
