Paying Cash?

A successful bidder has offered to pay cash and pick up an item as they live close by.

What is the protocol as the item is quite heavy and it would save on postage.

The item was bought for $16.99. 

Please let me know the correct approach before they actually pay for the item through PayPal?

That is quite OK.

Just send an invoice without the postage charge on it or you will be charged the FVF on the postage component.

Once the buyer has collected the item and paid you just mark it a Paid.
