Query on buyer

I have an item to sell and have had an enquiry. I have tried to look the buyer up to learn more about them but there is no info on the profile page. 

A member since 2020 but no transactions, so no reviews and no profile picture. 

Would this be a red flag or is this normal.

Normal. eBay doesn't have facilities for members to vet other members other than the avenues you have tried.

No profile pic is certainly not a red flag, no FEEDBACK (not reviews) in 4 years could be one.

You will have to judge whether or not you proceed, given the potential buyer hasn't actually committed to buy, and depending on the nature of the enquiry.

Well, suddenly buying something after 4 years could potentially be a sign of a hijacked account 

But even so, they could also be the biggest scammer going since buyers can only get positive feedback 

It's up to you, if your gut is telling you red flag, then don't proceed

I notice that you've ended the listing.

As already mentioned, it depended on the nature of the enquiry.

I doubt a simple question about the colour, measurements etc would have been any cause for concern.

However, any mention of their agent / transport agent/ shipping agent  picking up the bed would have been a Scam
