Hi i sold a car the other day for some one who doesn't have computer access, buyer messaged me and said he would like to direct deposit i said ok gave him details, he also wanted vin number rego number ect for a permit as car is registered he would have to get a permit, he then said he would;d be up on the weekend, the owner of the car waited all weekend he never turned up,i have filed an unpaid item dispute i also got contact information but when i phoned it it's been disconnected, but the phone number starts with a 08 so i googled it and it's saying it;s not an Australian number but it's saying he lives in Melbourne. what is the best thing to do.
Thank you
Thank you very much colkym
It seems every single time i have come in to Answer centre over the years some one has put the blame on to me, i try and do the right thing, when selling and buying, as i am a farmer and work 7 days a week no ia m not up with all the scamming thing but i do expose at least 2 scammers a week in ebay, so there security can't be that great, the buyer of this car when i went in to his information request says he lives in Melbourne, but after googling his full number it keeps coming up great Britain.
Thank you once again Colkym , after getting the last few Answers i were going to delete my self from ebay.and not buy or sell any more.
