Re: Getting EBAY refund on overpayment of postage

A buyer has just bought two items - she paid the full amount of postage on both items, viz $8.50 per transaction.  She then sent a message mentioning the fact that I was happy to combine shipping.  So naturally I sent a note back saying I would send a refund for $8.00.  This I have done via Paypal.  Paypal will give me a pro rata refund on the variation in postage.  However, when I look at my seller account, Ebay have charged me 0.84 being "Final Value Fee on Shipping", being $1.68 for two items, however I have just refunded $8.00 to the buyer, therefore EBAY should only be charging me 89c. or whatever the calculation is.

Has anyone else had this happen?  Do I request a refund from Ebay?
