Why am i charged for shipping when I don't use this service

I am noticing on my Ebay fees a charge for shipping. I don't use this service why am i being charged for it??

Your item  listings have postage chages on them, ebay charges a fee on a seller's postage fees, not just the item itself 

Ebay has charged a % fee on postage for quite some time (regardless of if the seller uses the 'ebay labels'  or not or if they use Australia Post or otherwise)

This is because people were doing listing where they were selling an item for say $1 and then charging $100 for postage (because they only had to pay ebay fees on the actual item itself)

Hence for several years ebay has charged a fee for the item and a fee for the postage
