Relist automatically up to three times for free feature has disappeared?

Could someone who is more informed than myself please help me?!

About a week ago, the automatic relisting feature (which allows you to automatically relist unsold items up to 3 times for free), stopped showing on my 'Review listing' page when listing items at the beginning of this month. 

I've been browsing the community forums & eBays Policy pages for hours now, and can't seem to find any decent information regarding my issue. The only solid piece of information I've found is on this webpage - http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/sell/relist.html

Particularly this dot point: 

• Your eligibility to relist an item automatically is based on your transactions and sales. When you're eligible to relist an item automatically, you see the option in the listing form. You can see your transactions and sales in your Seller Dashboard in My eBay.

However, there are no specifications of how many transactions and sales I need to have to be eligble for this feature.

It seems other sellers have had similar problems for years now, but I cannot seem to find an actual reason/solution for this issue.

I spoke to a customer service representative through live chat & their response was:

"I would like to confirm you that automatic relist unsold item will be ended when seller has done more than 100 successfully sales .This is one time optional feature for new seller .That's why it has been ended from your account ."

I questioned them further & got this out of them:

"This is only one time optional feature ,seller could not revoke it again .ebay gives this option to the new seller till more than 100 sales completed ."

I asked why I still had this feature available to me whilst being a Top Rated Powerseller with over 100 sales last year, in which they basically tried to sell me a store subscription. 

"I am afraid that that's eBay policies .But you can get store subscription for more free listing"

So... For all of you eBayers scratching your head wondering what the hell is going on with all the extra insertion fees & lack of auto-relists.. Here is eBays Policy Update outlining the changes and specifics of this free auto-list feature - apparently. See for yourself!

I was also trying to find out where that function had gone. I have been selling on ebay for over 15 years so i am definitely not a new seller. But I am a small seller just trying to get rid of stuff at home and making a little money. This will make a huge difference to me on how much I list in a month now.
Cant afford to pay for extra listings over the 40 free ones especially as I have lost my job in the last 6 months.
