Returning item

Hi, I sold a s7 edge last first week of Dec and the buyer received it after 3 days. Now after Christmas he told me that there's a problem with the device and he needs help, I told him to return the item and I'll give him a full refund or keep the phone and I'll give him half of the refund. But now it's he texted me that he will ask his girlfriend if what's there next move if they going to return the phone or not. Now it's already 20th of January and he's still not replying about the item. What do you think I must do as a seller should I still give him a refund even its already more than a month after he received the item or else? Thanks 🙂

Don't give a refund until you hear back from them one way or another, it may just be that he's unsure about operating it.

 

To offer 50% partial refund before he's even opened a case with either eBay or Paypal was probably being too generous IMO.
