Scam protection

I have recently sold a couple of items, the have been paid for and payment is on hold, I have looked at the buyers account and it looks like a scam setup, they have one review that basically looks like and for some unnamed product, 166 positive ratings over twelve months, the account is private and they have no items listed for sale, it looks suspicious to me, any suggestions or info would be appreciated.

Regards

I am not sure how you can tell the buyer is a scam set up (based on what you have posted)

Reviews are for products

Buyers can only ever have positive feedback, or no feedback (eBay does not allow buyers to get negs)

Not all buyers are also sellers

If their feedback is private, you would not be able to see if they are a serial neg giver (I am not sure how you can see they have 166 positive if the account is private, but the number is meaningless in any case

The payment will and should be on hold since you are a 'new' seller (most of your recent feedback being eBay automated feedback, rather than being left by buyers)

Sorry if I am being thick, but I am not following why you think it is a 'scam setup'

You can’t have a private feedback setup and sell.

Buyers can only receive positive feedback (essentially useless)
