Selling Limits

Being new to selling I hope that you can enlighten me:

I know that I have a current selling limit of $2,500.00 per month (I have requested and increase).

My question is: When a buyer does not pay for an item and it is relisted, why is that amount still recorded on my profile as a sold item & that I have ?

(this is from my profile)

You have sold 4 AU $1,992.98

You have listed (active) 1 AU $279.95

You can list 5 AU $227.07

Out of 10 Out of AU $2,500.00

The first item that I placed on here was purchased & buyer then refused to pay (he also did the same to 3 others with the same items). I followed the correct procedure, opened & closed the case & then relisted the item.

On relisting, the next buyer has done the same to me. Stated that they would pay last week but has not and no further contact. I have again followed the non-payment procedure.

My problem now is that having sold 2 smaller items in the past week also, my profile reads that I have sold $2000.00 when I have only sold just over $500.00. This means I am unable to relist the first item until I am either granted an increase or I will need to wait until next month.

Any advice would be appreciated ... Cheers

That is because it is not actually "selling limits" but "listing limits".  You are allowed to list 10 items of maximum value of $2 500.  Once they are listed they are listed, does not matter if they sell or not.  If item does not sell, to re-list will also add to your listed items.

Hope you can get your increase soon.  They usually do lift the limit if you add CC to your PP account , and do some verifications.
