Sold my item, not happy with the item's presentation, refunded item to buyer, but still posted item anyway

Hi,

I listed my item, sold it, then double checked the item (must not have had my glasses on when I originally listed it).

Anyway, I felt that I couldn't take the monies paid, refunded all monies, but posted the item to the buyer.

It cost me $7.70 in total, (with no sale), what would be the general opionion on this?

What would you have done in this situation?

I felt responsible to the buyer..............

You could not have done any more than you have.

Others would have just refunded and that was it or sent photos of the damage as proof there was not a problem.
