Just had someone buy three items from me and I combined the postage and sent them an invoice. Now they're telling me that my items have free postage under eBay Plus. Well, I'm not offering free postage as postage is not free -- I checked with my local post office, it costs money : ) I never signed up for eBay Plus either, I can't figure out how it works or what its benefits are, if any.
So how does this eBay Plus thing work? Do they reimburse the buyer for postage?
Explain to the buyer that you are not an eBay plus member.
Both the seller and buyer need to be plus members for the buyer to get the free postage.
If you as a seller signs up for eBay plus then you get extra exposure but you need to offer free postage.
No one subsidises the postage, sellers need to work the postage price into the items.
(many have said eBay plus is not worth it)
