Why are my items listed on UK eBay when I live & have my account in Australia?

I am from the UK, but am living in Australia.
I have set up a completely separate account on eBay.com.au linked to my Australian address, PayPal & bank account.
However when I'm selling items it's listed in UK & in pound sterling.
I keep having buyers from England contact me & I'm worried that my listing for my furniture isn't reaching my target local market in Sydney.
Does anybody know why this is? Maybe how I can rectify it?
