Why does ebay say This product may not be sold on eBay because it does not meet safety standards

When l try to relist my item it says  This product may not be sold on eBay because it does not meet safety standards.    It is Australian standard and others sell it???

Hi it is an extension strap for a car seat. I have been selling them for years. It was when l went to relist. It is a quality brand Britax safe n sound. I have all the other ones listed and no problems with them.

I suggest an online chat with ebay asking them why.  If they maintain there is some problem with the product tell them that there are no Britax product warnings. Ask to speak to a supervisor if first ebay responder isn't helpful.

When I do an online chat I have a sticky note on the screen with my question, any item reference numbers etc so this can be copied and pasted into the chat box quickly.

It might depend on certain words you used that made the bots think it was something else. Bots are not always right. If you want to share with us what it is and the words you used when you tried to list the item, maybe somebody is able to understand the issue and help.

Yes, perhaps something to do with extra key words that muddy what it is and confuse the bots (or the bots are running letters of two adjoining words together as they like to do

Has the product recently been recalled? 

Is it being dropshipped from China?
